Elisabeth Apartments are located in the heart of Marburg, opposite the Elisabeth Church and very close to the university and the old botanical garden. Today’s main building of Elisabeth Apartments stands on vaults that are several hundred years old. The wine and colonial goods were traded here in the past. Nowadays we offer here modern apartments and guest rooms. Whether for a weekend trip or for several weeks or months, you will find your temporary home here.
There is a brewery in the vaulted basement of our main house, which is managed by our partner from the Elisabeth Café on the ground floor.
In the charming Elisabeth Café you will find a wide range of food and drinks all day long. Here you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner with your family or friends. At the end of the day, you can enjoy a locally brewed beer in the basement with a view of the copper kettles of the brewery. The production of beer took place here until recently.
In the neighborhood of the upper town and the Landgrave’s Castle, you can experience the cultural offerings of the historic old town with the well-preserved half-timbered buildings. The proximity to the train station and several institutes of the Philipps University, the good connection to big companies in Marburg-Marbach and to the university hospital also make our apartments an ideal place for your stay.
Whether it’s a small studio for a single person or a large two-bedroom apartment for a family – we have the right offer for you. All our apartments are equipped with a kitchen or kitchenette, bathroom with shower, towels and bed linen as well as free Wi-Fi internet access.
If necessary, you can book a travel cot or high chair for your child. We also have a limited number of parking spaces, which you are welcome to add to your booking. Furthermore, the public parking house “Oberstadt” is 200 meters away. We also have a lockable garage for bicycles, which is located about 150 meters from our main house.
If necessary, our guests can use a washing machine and dryer in the main building. There are various restaurants and cafes, grocery stores and the weekly market nearby.
